Lemoyne College

well…like they imagine connected with the energizer bunny…”still customary!” while up in the syracuse area over the holidays i had the opportunity to come to see lemoyne college, the second youngest of the 28 jesuit schools after wheeling jesuit. thank you officer chris provo, a retired syracuse police director and now lemoyne security guard, with a son at the school, who appeared as so many have on my passing, to guide me through this campus. (with a whole consignment of keys to get into the locked buildings) never missing an oportunity to go inside the jesuit community, i accepted fr. daniel mulhauser’s enticement for a outing, a tipple and even amass. to the left is a photo of the outside of the ski embed itself, type jesuit community house which is on scale of a hill at this small liberal arts college in midstate novel york.to left is fr. mulhauser, who has recently returned to loyola as the alumni chaplain. he has spent the matrix 22yrs as a missionary in guam. he is an avid skier, even at 80, and is over the moon to be backtrack from in snow country! according to fr. mulhauser, lemoyne, which serves a more regional base is looking to extend as it continues to reach out to a more diverse devotee corpse. there are about 14 jesuits on campus; half are teaching and the other half are in administrative positions.“…emphasis is on the education of the whole person and on the search for meaning and value as integral parts of the intellectual life…” the undertaking statement in grewen hall, across from the chapel where some of the administrative offices are, is this plaque recognizing lemoyne’s sibling jesuit schools across the homeland…if you’ve been following the blog…you’ve seen 16 of them!
